Does the calculator include payment-gateway fees?+
No. Gateway fees (Razorpay ~2-3%, Stripe ~2.9%+30¢) go to the gateway, not the platform, and apply equally to all platforms. They're excluded so you can compare platforms head-to-head.
Why does Kavieo's fee drop with revenue?+
Kavieo's pricing inverts the legacy model. Most platforms keep a flat per-sale fee. Kavieo charges 5% on Free, 1% on Studio — the bigger the operator, the lower the fee. The model selects for serious operators and stops the perverse incentive for the platform to throttle creators who succeed.
What about Gumroad's 'no monthly fee'?+
Gumroad has zero monthly cost but a flat 10% per-sale fee. The break-even with Kavieo Builder (₹1,499/mo + 3%) is roughly ₹15,000/mo revenue. Above that, Kavieo is cheaper; below it, Gumroad is.
